Phalen Project

Perched on a hilltop overlooking a lake, this house imbues Montana living at its finest. The homeowners
had a vision to create their corner of Paradise on a lot that some may have seen as a challenge.

There are many fun aspects to this project! Expansive wood flooring welcomes the outside in and allow
for easy cleanup with pets. Metal brackets accent the wood beams that create lines of separation
between the open living spaces. Large windows reflect not only the lake, but Montana’s Big Sky from
every room. Distinct tile patterns add beauty to the bathrooms, keeping with ease-of-cleaning prevalent
throughout the home.

The rooms throughout feel cozy, yet spacious. The kitchen, while providing ample cooking space on the
veined granite counters, welcomes guests to sit and chat with the cook, while still enjoying the beauty of
nature surrounding this home.

What a gift to be able to work in such a stunning location, as well as for a great couple, creating their
vision!
